I think that the real question that needs to be asked is, why is music not important? Music has helped thousands of people battle through depression, has helped people party into the night and has even helped people when giving birth. Why On Earth Is Music So Important?

So many forms

There are literally hundreds of different forms of music that you can learn and play from those wild hits on drum kits to the more gentle sound of acoustic guitars. Music has such a wide appeal that anyone and everyone can get involved, it doesn't matter if you are listening or playing the types of music are endless.

One of the best things about music is that you can make instruments of anything. If you have kids then there are so many things you can use as instruments, a prime example of this is STOMP. many people have the ability of creating a guitar out of things like cigar box. the great thing about this is that a lot of them can sound pretty cool.

Emotion

Each piece of music is created with a various emotion attached to it. Some musicians out there really need to get into a certain mood before they can even think about writing music, this shows in the finished song. Sad, slow songs will be listened to by people who are feeling a bit down and the happier ones are of course listened to by people in a brilliant mood.

Music also has the ability to cheer us up if we are down and it is this and the other reasons that makes music one of the most important creations in the world. Whack on those guitar amplifiers and get playing!
